Good morning, friends.
This morning, I was awake at 5:00 a.m. with my baby. I fed her, put her back in her crib so she could go back to sleep, and then I turned on the lights in my room. It was time to wake up, open my Bible, and begin my day with the Lord.
The house was still completely quiet.
It was just me and the Lord.
Lately, I’ve been walking through a season of so much uncertainty, especially professionally. There are so many questions that I don’t have answers to yet. So many things that are simply out of my control. But one thing I know without a doubt is that the Lord is with me. He is guiding me, giving me peace, and I know that His plans are far greater than anything I could ever imagine for myself.
This morning, I spent time reading these passages:
– Psalm 23
– Matthew 6:25-34
– Romans 8:31-39
– Isaiah 41:10
– Lamentations 3:22-23
I encourage you to read them slowly. Don’t rush through them. Let every verse settle into your heart.
As I read, I realized something. Sometimes the Lord allows us to walk through seasons of uncertainty because they bring us closer to Him. When everything else feels unstable, we discover that He is the only foundation that never moves.
Right now, I feel like I’m in one of those seasons.
There are moments when I feel a little lost. There are so many responsibilities, so many decisions to make, and two little girls who depend on me every single day. Yet in the middle of all of it, I have found the greatest comfort.
The Lord.
And when I say that He is all I have, I don’t mean that as if it were a small thing. Quite the opposite.
I have the Lord.
What else do I truly need?
Today, Psalm 23 spoke to my heart in a completely different way.
“The Lord is my Shepherd.”
A shepherd guides, protects, provides, and never abandons his sheep. Sheep don’t know the entire path ahead. They simply stay close to their shepherd, trusting that he knows where he is leading them.
I realized that this is exactly where I am.
I’m simply one of His sheep.
I don’t have to know every answer today.
I don’t have to see the entire road ahead.
I only need to keep following Him.
So that is what I’m choosing to do.
I’ll keep taking my little baby steps. I’ll continue doing the next right thing in front of me. I’ll continue trusting that the Lord is already preparing the path ahead, even when I can’t see it.
I believe with all my heart that everything will work out exactly as He intends. Everything will fall into place in His perfect timing.
I wanted to share this morning with you because maybe someone reading this also feels uncertain. Maybe you’re carrying burdens that nobody else sees. Maybe you’re wondering what comes next.
If that’s you, I hope you’ll take a few moments today to read the same passages I read this morning.
Let the Lord remind you that He is your Shepherd.
He is taking care of you.
He knows where you are.
He hasn’t forgotten you.
He isn’t surprised by your circumstances.
He is walking beside you every step of the way.

Today, I’m starting my day with peace. Before the rest of the house wakes up, I’m going to spend a little time coloring and simply enjoying this quiet morning that the Lord has given me.
I’m praying that these verses bless your heart as much as they blessed mine.
May the Lord bless you, protect you, guide your steps, and fill your heart with His perfect peace.
Rest assured…
The Lord is taking care of everything.
God bless you. ❤️
With love & grace,
Tay
